Thank you for bidding in our auction! Your support of the ACCESS of WIlmington's Sounds of Freedom Music with a Mission auction will provide adapted sports and recreation for our Veterans and First Responders, including adaptive kayaking, equine therapy, scuba, deep sea fishing, surfing, biking, hiking, yoga, paddle boarding and more. Since 2013, ACCESS has provided adapted sports and recreational opportunities for our Veterans. online auction. We appreciate your support! This year's auction will be highlighted by an intimate evening event called, "Music with a Mission", with a writer's round featuring our Sounds of Freedom benefit concert headliners, Nashville Recording Artists, Velvet Rodeo, joined by recently ranked #3 on Country itunes chart, "Crazy as Me", duet featuring Belles, and runner up on the Voice, Ruby Leigh followed by ACCESS of WIlmington Family member, Scott Walker from Texas! Auction Timing

Extended bidding (aka "popcorn bidding") is enabled for this auction. Each item will remain open for bidding past the auction close time until it hasn't received a bid for at least ten minutes.

Terms of Sale

1) In order to bid, you must be at least 18 years of age and able to form legally binding contracts under applicable law. 2) Bids may be accepted between the auction open and auction close times as indicated on the auction page. Depending on auction settings, the close time for an item may extend past the auction close time if there are bids placed within the last ten minutes. 3) When you place a bid on an online auction item, you enter into a legally binding contract with the seller to purchase the item if you are the highest bid at the time the item closes. When you purchase a fixed-price item, you enter into a legally binding contract with the seller to purchase the item. The Diamond Necklace Raffle is a fixed price item. All fixed price purchases at $25 for 1 ticket and $100 for 5 tickets will be combined for one online generated raffle. The Raffle will be held at 9:15 pm at the VIP Kickoff Event at Warehouse on Water. You do not need to be present to win. The winner will be notified via email after the drawing. 4) If you are a winning bidder or purchase a fixed-price item, you agree to pay the full amount of your winning bid (for biddable items) or the sale price (for fixed-price items) plus any applicable sales or use tax on your purchase, as well as any applicable shipping or delivery charges. 5) All bids are final. Bids may only be retracted at the seller's discretion. Similarly, all purchases are final and there will be no exchanges or refunds on items unless otherwise noted or warranted. 6) This auction utilizes a “Popcorn Bidding” format. If a bid is placed within the final minutes of the auction’s scheduled closing time, the auction will automatically be extended. This extension process will continue until no further bids are received within the last 10 minutes, at which point the auction will officially close. This ensures that all interested bidders have a fair opportunity to participate and prevents last-second “sniping.” 7) Payment shall be made by credit and debit cards accepted by our payment processor. 8) Items and certificates will be delivered as noted within the item description. 9) The Seller reserves the right to add or withdraw, without notice, items to or from the auction. 10) Seller has attempted to describe and catalog all items correctly, but all items are offered "as is" and "where is." Seller neither warrants nor represents, and in no event shall be responsible for, the correctness of descriptions, genuineness, authorship, provenance, or condition of the items. The values listed are estimates only, and are not warranted for tax purposes or fair market value. Items have not been appraised unless specifically otherwise noted. 11) Each registered bidder assumes all risks and hazards related to the auction and items obtained at the auction. Each bidder agrees to hold harmless from any liability arising therefrom Seller, its elected and appointed officials, members and employees, the auctioneers, the auction software company and its agents and employees, event organizers, sponsors, and/or volunteers connected with the auction.

Post Auction

After you have paid for any auction items that you won, you'll collect your item at the auction desk. If you are not ticketed and present at the VIP Kickoff event on September 5th, you may pick up your auction item at the ACCESS of Wilmington office located at 2021 Corporate Drive, Suite B, Wilmington, NC, 48405 starting Tuesday, September 9th during regular business hours. Auction items may be shipped at the winner’s request; however, all shipping costs, including insurance for the full value of the winning bid, must be prepaid by the auction winner.
