Adventure awaits you at Sandy Springs Adventure Park! This experience will be fun and exciting whether you're a youngster who enjoys the outdoors or a seasoned outdoors enthusiast! Opened in 2011 as one of the first Swiss style Adventure Parks in the country, the Adventure Park at Sandy Spring has grown to become the largest tree-based outdoor climbing park in the country. The Aerial Adventure Forest is essentially an obstacle course in the trees and includes climbing, zip lines and combinations of the challenge bridges and zip lines. The Adventure Park at Sandy Spring has 15 trails, which are color-coded, with purple — the easiest — being a 12- to 20-foot-high course, and double black diamond — the most difficult — being 65 feet in the air. Whether you’re a health nut looking for a good workout, or a first timer who has never climbed through the tree tops, The Adventure Park has something for everyone. The Park can accommodate ages 6 & up – their oldest climber so far was 95! Step out of your comfort zone and explore the tree tops! Bid to win 2 tickets to the Park - Each ticket is good for any experience in the Aerial Forest. Choose a 3 hour climb or opt for a special event! Retail value: $151. Tickets expire December 2026. A note from Canham Farm Horse Rescue Inc: LOVEPAWS was originally founded as a shelter intake prevention program in 2019 with a mission of keeping pets in homes and out of our local shelters through community outreach. Our outreach efforts are targeted towards helping pet owners in low-income and underserved communities in Prince George’s and Montgomery Counties, Maryland.
Our scope and mission quickly expanded to include pulling dogs and cats from local shelters, with a focus on the pit bull type dogs of Prince George’s County (PG pitties) targeted by a decades-old county-wide breed ban. This has allowed our organization to rescue and advocate for the most at-risk animals, the true underdogs in our community, in homes, in shelters, and living in colonies. We are committed to stepping forward whenever we can and wherever the need is greatest.
LOVEPAWS is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization (EIN: 83-3122611). We are an exclusively 100% unpaid volunteer-based, foster-based rescue with our foster network spanning MD, DC, and VA. 100% of proceeds from this auction go directly towards helping us save more lives!
